What Makes It UncommonIt's a little-known fact that your books would rather not be stacked. Display that literary collection upright and with dignity using these weighted, handcrafted bookends.
- Choose between three illustrated patterns featuring fun bibliophile statements that were hand-transferred to the wood:
- The book was better with peach peonies on a yellow-and-green background.
- Just one more chapter with orange wildflowers on a pink background.
- Read banned books with green monstera leaves on a mint-green background.
- Each image possesses an intentionally distressed look (yes, that underlying white paint showing through the image is part of the aesthetic).
- The block's material maintains this style too. All wood contains various knots and wondrous imperfections (i.e., not all sides will be flat).
- Weighing in at a little over 1 lb, your books will stay safe, waiting for your next reading session.

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, sisters Kristen and Lindsey Archer returned to their hometown after college. After a decade of working in graphic design, illustration, and photography, they launched their creative "side hustle" at an art fair in 2014. Within six years, it was their full-time job. The pair sees living and working together as a benefit to their business: "Being so close means we know each other well enough to know when one needs encouragement—or needs to be left alone!"
